You’ll receive Yellow Belt certification from BlueSkye Track, a leading industry consulting and training company, shortly after the workshop is completed. This LIVE online (instructor-led)  workshop teaches any participant the Lean Six Sigma philosophy, and how to apply it in his or her role on a day-to-day basis. The participant will learn about:

•  the basics of six sigma
•   the basics of lean
•  how and why lean and six sigma are a combined methodology
•  the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) model
• the tools of lean six sigma (SIPOC, cause-and-effect, other tools as time permits); a toolbook will be provided.
• important measures
• recovery for when a problem occurs

1.   Participants will utilize a case study (supplied by the instructor), and will do hands-on use of the tools (on whiteboard) with team to learn the DMAIC model and the use of specific tools.

2.   Participants will be prepared to be on an improvement team by the end of this course.

Participants: Those who work in a process(es) on a daily basis.

You will need a computer with web access, a headset with microphone (for Voice Over IP).  This gives you complete interaction with the instructor and other participants.  No phone calls to make, just login, turn your volume to the proper level and you should be all set to participate.
